  1. 1. Cut off the green leafy crown from the top of the pineapple.
  2. 2. Slice off the hard outer skin in strips until the fruit flesh is exposed.
  3. 3. Remove the hard eyes of the fruit one by one using the tip of a small knife.
  4. 4. Cut the fruit flesh into slices about 2 centimeters thick.
  5. 5. Mix honey, rum, and butter in a small bowl until you have a smooth mixture.
  6. 6. Brush the pineapple slices generously with the honey-rum-butter mixture.
  7. 7. Place the slices on the hot grill for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Turn the pineapple once halfway through the cooking time.
  9. 9. Serve the warm slices immediately after grilling.
