  1. 1. Crush the allspice berries (myrtle berries) finely in a mortar.
  2. 2. Mix the ground allspice with the sugar until the mixture is uniform.
  3. 3. Heat a pan without fat and toast the coconut flakes in it briefly.
  4. 4. Remove the toasted coconut flakes from the pan and let them cool on a plate.
  5. 5. Peel the pineapple and cut it into 2 cm thick slices.
  6. 6. Lightly brush the pineapple slices with oil.
  7. 7. Preheat the grill to very high heat.
  8. 8. Place the pineapple slices on the hot grill.
  9. 9. Grill the slices briefly on each side.
  10. 10. Turn the pineapple slices once.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the allspice sugar over the turned slices.
  12. 12. Remove the grilled pineapple slices from the grill and place them on a plate.
  13. 13. Drizzle the pineapple with the syrup.
  14. 14. Sprinkle the cooled coconut flakes over the dish.
