🍰 Grilled Pineapple with Piment Sugar and Coconut

Ingredients
- 5 pimento berries
- 15 g raw cane sugar (1 tbsp)
- 4 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 pineapple
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Crush the allspice berries (myrtle berries) finely in a mortar.
- 2. Mix the ground allspice with the sugar until the mixture is uniform.
- 3. Heat a pan without fat and toast the coconut flakes in it briefly.
- 4. Remove the toasted coconut flakes from the pan and let them cool on a plate.
- 5. Peel the pineapple and cut it into 2 cm thick slices.
- 6. Lightly brush the pineapple slices with oil.
- 7. Preheat the grill to very high heat.
- 8. Place the pineapple slices on the hot grill.
- 9. Grill the slices briefly on each side.
- 10. Turn the pineapple slices once.
- 11. Sprinkle the allspice sugar over the turned slices.
- 12. Remove the grilled pineapple slices from the grill and place them on a plate.
- 13. Drizzle the pineapple with the syrup.
- 14. Sprinkle the cooled coconut flakes over the dish.
