🍽️ Cheese and Pepper Toast with Watercress

Ingredients
- 1 slice loaf white bread (approx. 2,5 cm thick)
- 50 g Brie
- 0.25 red bell pepper
- watercress
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut a rectangular opening into the center of the white bread slice, but do not cut all the way through the bottom. This creates a small pocket.
- 2. Cut the Brie cheese into small cubes.
- 3. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 4. Thoroughly wash the watercress under cold water.
- 5. Pluck the small leaves off the tough stems.
- 6. Fill the bread pocket with the cheese cubes, pepper strips, and watercress leaves.
- 7. Season the filling lightly with salt and black pepper.
- 8. Turn your oven grill to the highest setting.
- 9. Place the toast on a rack or a baking sheet.
- 10. Grill the toast for about 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- 11. Turn the toast over and grill the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes.
