  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Peel the kohlrabi.
  3. 3. Cut the bottom ends flat so the kohlrabi stand stably.
  4. 4. Carefully hollow out the kohlrabi.
  5. 5. Finely chop the removed kohlrabi flesh.
  6. 6. Mix the chopped meat with the sausage mince.
  7. 7. Add 1 tablespoon of parsley.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Fill the kohlrabi with the sausage mixture.
  10. 10. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  11. 11. Place the stuffed kohlrabi in the dish.
  12. 12. Pour broth over the kohlrabi.
  13. 13. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
  14. 14. Simmer the kohlrabi in the oven for approx. 35 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the lid or foil after the cooking time.
  16. 16. Sprinkle cheese over the kohlrabi.
  17. 17. Place small cubes of butter on top.
  18. 18. Place the dish back in the oven.
  19. 19. Gratin the kohlrabi for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  20. 20. Sprinkle the finished kohlrabi with the remaining parsley.
  21. 21. Serve the dish.
