🍽️ Stuffed Grape Leaves with Sheep's Cheese

Ingredients
- 160 g pickled organic grape leaves (approx. 16 pieces)
- 2 red onions
- 500 g feta (45% fat in dry matter)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 0.25 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Place the grape leaves in a bowl of cold water for about one hour.
- 2. Peel the onions and cut them into wedges.
- 3. Cut the feta cheese into eight equal pieces.
- 4. Place two grape leaves slightly overlapping each other.
- 5. Place one piece of feta in the center of the leaves.
- 6. Drizzle some honey over the cheese.
- 7. Sprinkle fennel seeds and cumin over the filling.
- 8. Fold the sides of the grape leaves towards the center.
- 9. Roll the leaves into a tight packet.
- 10. Brush the packet with some oil.
- 11. Place the stuffed grape leaves together with the onion wedges on a hot grill.
- 12. Grill the packets for 6 to 7 minutes, turning them occasionally.
- 13. Use a grill pan if necessary to prevent the packets from falling through.
- 14. Enjoy the stuffed grape leaves warm or cold.
