🍽️ Oven Zucchini Rolls with Ham and Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g mozzarella (2 balls)
- 125 g Parma ham (in thin slices)
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- 1. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
- 2. Cut off the hard ends on both sides.
- 3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 4. Boil the whole zucchini for about 3 minutes.
- 5. Remove the zucchini from the water with a slotted spoon.
- 6. Rinse them immediately under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 7. Let the zucchini drain well.
- 8. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin, long strips.
- 9. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
- 10. Season the zucchini strips with salt and pepper.
- 11. Place a slice of ham on each strip.
- 12. Add a slice of mozzarella.
- 13. Place a basil leaf on top.
- 14. Roll the zucchini up tightly.
- 15. Grease a baking dish with a little oil.
- 16. Place the rolls side by side in the dish.
- 17. Drizzle a little olive oil over the rolls.
- 18. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 19. Place the tomatoes in the gaps between the zucchini rolls.
- 20. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- 21. Place the baking dish in the oven.
- 22. Bake the rolls for about 20 minutes.
- 23. Carefully remove the dish from the oven.
- 24. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the rolls.
- 25. Place the dish back in the oven.
- 26. Continue baking until the cheese is completely melted.
