🍽️ Fresh Rice Rolls with Turkey and Orange

Ingredients
- 175 g smoked turkey breast (sliced)
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 bunch spring onions
- 4 sprigs coriander
- 1 orange
- 4 sheets rice paper (30 cm Ø)
- 6 leaves iceberg lettuce
- salt
- pepper
- soy sauce (to taste)
- chili sauce (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the turkey slices into thin strips.
- 2. Quarter the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and wash it.
- 3. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 4. Clean and wash the spring onions.
- 5. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 6. Wash the coriander and shake it dry.
- 7. Chop the coriander coarsely.
- 8. Peel the orange using a sharp knife.
- 9. Make sure to remove all the white pith.
- 10. Cut the fruit flesh out of the membranes.
- 11. Catch the juice that comes out.
- 12. Soak two rice paper sheets in 50°C water for 45 seconds.
- 13. Wet a kitchen towel thoroughly.
- 14. Place the damp towel on your work surface.
- 15. Take the rice paper sheets out of the water.
- 16. Place the sheets overlapping on the towel.
- 17. Wash the lettuce leaves.
- 18. Shake the lettuce leaves dry.
- 19. Top the rice paper with three lettuce leaves.
- 20. Distribute half of the prepared ingredients onto the lettuce.
- 21. Leave a border of at least two centimeters all around.
- 22. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
- 23. Sprinkle the coriander leaves over the filling.
- 24. Roll the rice sheets tightly using the towel.
- 25. Use all remaining ingredients for additional rolls.
- 26. Cut the finished rolls into three-centimeter-long pieces.
- 27. Place the pieces on plates.
- 28. Serve the rolls with soy or chili sauce as desired.
