🍽️ Pretzel Stick with Cream Cheese Filling

Ingredients
- 80 g pretzel stick (1 pretzel stick)
- 40 g small carrots (0.5 small carrots)
- 1 tbsp peanut kernels
- 30 g smoked turkey breast (1 slice)
- 40 g low-fat quark (2 tbsp)
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Take the pretzel stick and carefully slice it in half lengthwise.
- 2. Open both halves and remove the soft bread interior with a fork to create a hollow shell.
- 3. Wash the half carrot, trim the ends, and peel it.
- 4. Roughly chop the peeled carrot.
- 5. Place the carrot pieces and peanuts into a blender or food processor.
- 6. Pulse the mixture briefly until it is coarsely chopped.
- 7. Slice the turkey breast deli meat into very thin strips.
- 8. Mix the quark (a fresh dairy product similar to cream cheese) with the carrot and peanut mixture.
- 9. Gently fold the thin turkey strips into the quark mixture.
- 10. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. Fill the hollowed-out pretzel stick with the quark mixture.
- 12. Press the two halves back together firmly.
- 13. Wrap the finished sandwich tightly in aluminum foil so it is sturdy for transport.
