  1. 1. Soak the cedar planks in cold water for at least one hour.
  2. 2. Wash the tomatoes and pat them dry with a cloth.
  3. 3. Cut off the top part of each tomato and keep it as a lid.
  4. 4. Hollow out the tomatoes and dice the removed flesh into small cubes.
  5. 5. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the seeds, and dice them.
  6. 6. Wash the spring onions, trim them, and slice them into thin rings.
  7. 7. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  8. 8. Wash the rosemary, shake off excess water, and pluck off the needles.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  10. 10. Sauté the spring onion rings, garlic, and pepper cubes for two minutes.
  11. 11. Stir the tomato cubes into the vegetables.
  12. 12. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and vinegar.
  13. 13. Grate the cheese.
  14. 14. Fill the vegetables into the hollowed-out tomatoes.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the cheese and rosemary needles on top.
  16. 16. Let the cedar planks drain well.
  17. 17. Place the stuffed tomatoes with their lids onto the planks.
  18. 18. Place the planks on the grate of a preheated kettle grill.
  19. 19. Grill the tomatoes covered for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese has melted.
