  1. 1. Cut about 100 grams of pita bread into small cubes.
  2. 2. Place the bread cubes in a bowl of water and let them soak.
  3. 3. Peel one clove of garlic and one onion.
  4. 4. Finely chop the garlic and the onion.
  5. 5. Heat some butter in a pan.
  6. 6. Sauté the garlic and onion in the hot butter until they are translucent.
  7. 7. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool down slightly.
  8. 8. Squeeze the soaked bread well with your hands to remove the water.
  9. 9. Add the squeezed bread to minced meat.
  10. 10. Add the cooled onion-garlic mixture to the meat.
  11. 11. Chop fresh parsley and add half of the amount to the meat.
  12. 12. Sprinkle oregano and cumin over the mixture.
  13. 13. Season everything with salt and pepper to taste.
  14. 14. Knead all ingredients with your hands to form a homogeneous meat dough.
  15. 15. Crumble feta cheese into small pieces.
  16. 16. Wet your hands with a little water so the dough does not stick.
  17. 17. Take a portion of meat dough and shape it into a flat disc.
  18. 18. Place a few pieces of feta cheese in the center of the meat disc.
  19. 19. Fold the meat edges over the cheese.
  20. 20. Press the edges firmly together so the filling stays inside.
  21. 21. Mash the remaining feta cheese in a bowl.
  22. 22. Mix the crumbled cheese with three tablespoons of olive oil.
  23. 23. Add fresh parsley and lemon juice to the cheese mixture.
  24. 24. Stir everything well until a creamy sauce forms.
  25. 25. Heat some olive oil in a large pan.
  26. 26. Place the stuffed meatballs in the hot pan.
  27. 27. Fry the meatballs on each side for about eight minutes until golden brown.
  28. 28. Serve the hot meatballs on leaf salads.
  29. 29. Pour the feta-olive cream over the salad.
  30. 30. Serve the dish with the remaining pita bread.
