  2. 2. Mash the marzipan finely with a fork.
  3. 3. Mix the mashed marzipan with the juice.
  4. 4. Fold the chopped walnuts into the marzipan mixture.
  5. 5. Make a lengthwise cut into the dates.
  6. 6. Remove the pits from the dates.
  7. 7. Fill the dates with the walnut-marzipan mixture.
  8. 8. Chop the chocolate (coating chocolate) into small pieces.
  9. 9. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath.
  10. 10. Dip the filled dates halfway into the melted chocolate.
  11. 11. Let the excess chocolate drip off the dates.
  12. 12. Place the dates on baking paper.
  13. 13. Let the chocolate dry in the air.
