🍽️ Stuffed Dates with Sage and Walnut

Ingredients
- 220 g dates (12 dates)
- 30 g walnut kernels
- 6 sage leaves
- 120 g young goat cheese
- salt
- black pepper
- 3 slices Parma ham
- 100 g baby salad mix
- 0.5 lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
Instructions
- 1. Carefully pit the dates and make a lengthwise slit in them without cutting all the way through.
- 2. Roast the walnuts in a pan without added fat until they are fragrant.
- 3. Finely chop the roasted walnuts.
- 4. Wash the sage leaves and shake them dry.
- 5. Finely chop the sage leaves.
- 6. Mix the chopped walnuts and sage with the cheese.
- 7. Season the cheese and walnut mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8. Fill the cheese mixture into the slit dates.
- 9. Cut the ham into 12 equal strips.
- 10. Wrap each stuffed date with a strip of ham.
- 11. Place the dates in a baking dish with the opening facing upwards.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection is not recommended, gas level 3).
- 13. Bake the dates for 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 14. Wash the salad and spin it dry.
- 15. Squeeze the lemon.
- 16. Whisk one tablespoon of lemon juice with salt and pepper.
- 17. Stir the oil into the dressing mixture.
- 18. Toss the salad with the dressing.
- 19. Divide the salad onto plates.
- 20. Serve the stuffed dates together with the salad.
