  1. 1. Rinse the cherry tomatoes under running water.
  2. 2. Carefully cut off the top ends of the tomatoes.
  3. 3. Remove the seeds and pulp using a small spoon.
  4. 4. Season the empty tomato cavities inside with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Stir the cream cheese mixture with the lemon juice until smooth.
  6. 6. Season the cream cheese filling with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7. Fill the cream cheese cream into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
  8. 8. Pipe the filling into the hollowed-out tomatoes.
  9. 9. Place the cut-off tomato lids back on the stuffed tomatoes.
  10. 10. Arrange the tomatoes nicely on a serving plate.
  11. 11. Wash the basil under cold water.
  12. 12. Shake the basil dry.
  13. 13. Pick the fresh basil leaves off the stems.
  14. 14. Place the basil leaves on top of the stuffed tomatoes.
  15. 15. Sprinkle some freshly ground pepper over them.
