🍽️ Cherry Tomatoes Stuffed with Cream Cheese

Ingredients
- 120 g red cherry tomatoes (12 red cherry tomatoes)
- 120 g yellow cherry tomatoes (12 yellow cherry tomatoes)
- salt
- pepper
- 400 g cream cheese (13 % fat)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 sprigs basil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the cherry tomatoes under running water.
- 2. Carefully cut off the top ends of the tomatoes.
- 3. Remove the seeds and pulp using a small spoon.
- 4. Season the empty tomato cavities inside with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- 5. Stir the cream cheese mixture with the lemon juice until smooth.
- 6. Season the cream cheese filling with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Fill the cream cheese cream into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
- 8. Pipe the filling into the hollowed-out tomatoes.
- 9. Place the cut-off tomato lids back on the stuffed tomatoes.
- 10. Arrange the tomatoes nicely on a serving plate.
- 11. Wash the basil under cold water.
- 12. Shake the basil dry.
- 13. Pick the fresh basil leaves off the stems.
- 14. Place the basil leaves on top of the stuffed tomatoes.
- 15. Sprinkle some freshly ground pepper over them.
