🍽️ Cream Cheese Cubes from Dark and White Bread

Ingredients
- 100 g Carrots (1 Carrot)
- 0.5 small Lemon
- 1 tsp liquid Honey
- Salt
- Pepper
- 0.5 bunch Chives
- 100 g grainy Cream Cheese
- 45 g Dark Bread (square; 1 slice)
- 30 g Toast Bread (square; 1 slice)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the carrot thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the ends and peel the carrot.
- 3. Grate the carrot finely.
- 4. Place the grated carrot into a bowl.
- 5. Squeeze the half lemon.
- 6. Measure exactly one teaspoon of lemon juice.
- 7. Add the lemon juice to the carrots.
- 8. Add one teaspoon of honey.
- 9. Season with salt and pepper.
- 10. Mix everything well together.
- 11. Wash the chives.
- 12. Shake the chives dry.
- 13. Cut the chives into small rings.
- 14. Mix the chives with the cream cheese.
- 15. Spread the cream cheese and chive mixture onto the dark bread.
- 16. Place the white toast bread on top.
- 17. Press the bread stack down slightly.
- 18. Cut the bread stack three times lengthwise.
- 19. Cut the bread stack three times crosswise.
- 20. Aim for evenly sized cubes.
- 21. Arrange the cubes in a checkerboard pattern in a bread box.
- 22. Add toothpicks or colorful sticks.
- 23. Use the sticks to secure the cubes.
