  1. 1. Remove the flesh from the avocado and puree it until smooth.
  2. 2. Immediately mix in the lemon juice to prevent the avocado from browning.
  3. 3. Season the avocado mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Clean the spinach and wash it thoroughly under running water.
  5. 5. Put the washed spinach into boiling salted water for two minutes (this is called blanching).
  6. 6. Remove the spinach from the water and let it drain well in a colander.
  7. 7. Squeeze the drained spinach firmly to remove any remaining liquid.
  8. 8. Finely chop the capers.
  9. 9. Mix the chopped capers with one tablespoon of caper liquid and mayonnaise.
  10. 10. Clean the bell pepper and wash it.
  11. 11. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
  12. 12. Remove the hard crust (the rind) from the white bread.
  13. 13. Spread the avocado mixture evenly over the bread slices.
  14. 14. Place the pressed spinach on top of the avocado-spread bread slices.
  15. 15. Distribute the pepper strips in the center of the breads.
  16. 16. Roll the breads up tightly so they look like small parcels.
  17. 17. Cut the large rolls in half to create smaller rolls.
  18. 18. Serve the stuffed bread rolls immediately.
