🍽️ Baked Pears with Roquefort and Walnuts

Ingredients
- 4 firm and juicy pears (e.g. Alexander Lucas, Williams or Forelle)
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 80 g Roquefort
- 50 g walnut kernels
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the pears in half.
- 3. Remove the core with a spoon or corer.
- 4. Place the pear halves on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 5. Mix the lemon juice with the honey in a small bowl.
- 6. Brush the pear halves with the honey-lemon mixture.
- 7. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 8. Finely chop half of the thyme leaves.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 10. Select the top and bottom heat setting.
- 11. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
- 12. Crumble the Roquefort cheese with your fingers.
- 13. Mix the walnuts, Roquefort, and chopped thyme in a bowl.
- 14. Pack the filling firmly into the hollowed-out pears.
- 15. Season the filling lightly with black pepper.
- 16. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 17. Bake the pears for about 10 minutes.
- 18. Remove the pears when the filling is golden brown.
- 19. Sprinkle the finished pears with the remaining fresh thyme leaves.
- 20. Serve the pears warm.
