  1. 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under running water.
  2. 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the chicken meat into small, even cubes.
  4. 4. Whisk the oil with paprika powder, harissa, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  5. 5. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix everything well so the meat is evenly coated.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the meat marinate.
  7. 7. Rinse the bell peppers under running water.
  8. 8. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise.
  9. 9. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
  10. 10. Cut the deseeded bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  11. 11. Peel the onions of their outer skin.
  12. 12. Cut the onions into wedges or thick strips.
  13. 13. Take the marinated chicken cubes out of the marinade.
  14. 14. Thread the chicken cubes alternately with the pepper pieces and onion wedges onto the wooden skewers.
  15. 15. Place the skewers on the hot grill or in a hot grill pan.
  16. 16. Lightly season the skewers with salt.
  17. 17. Fry the skewers on all sides for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
  18. 18. Brush the skewers with the remaining marinade occasionally while frying.
  19. 19. Remove the finished skewers from the grill and serve them.
