🍽️ Chicken Skewers with Peppers and Onions

Ingredients
- 600 g Turkey Breast Fillet
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Sweet Paprika Powder
- 1 tsp Harissa (Powder)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
- 2 Red Bell Peppers
- 2 Onions
- Salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into small, even cubes.
- 4. Whisk the oil with paprika powder, harissa, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- 5. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix everything well so the meat is evenly coated.
- 6. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the meat marinate.
- 7. Rinse the bell peppers under running water.
- 8. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise.
- 9. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
- 10. Cut the deseeded bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- 11. Peel the onions of their outer skin.
- 12. Cut the onions into wedges or thick strips.
- 13. Take the marinated chicken cubes out of the marinade.
- 14. Thread the chicken cubes alternately with the pepper pieces and onion wedges onto the wooden skewers.
- 15. Place the skewers on the hot grill or in a hot grill pan.
- 16. Lightly season the skewers with salt.
- 17. Fry the skewers on all sides for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
- 18. Brush the skewers with the remaining marinade occasionally while frying.
- 19. Remove the finished skewers from the grill and serve them.
- 20. Serve the skewers with dips like mango sauce on the side, as desired.
