🍰 Tender Apple Rings with Spiced Sauce

Ingredients
- 300 g Apples
- 150 ml Cider
- 50 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 15 g Butter
- 25 g Pine nuts
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 pinch Cardamom
- 0.25 tsp Vanilla
- 50 g Whipping cream
- 2 tsp Cranberry jam
Instructions
- 1. Remove the cores from the apples using a corer.
- 2. Peel the apples completely.
- 3. Cut the apples into thick slices.
- 4. Mix apple wine, water, and honey in a pot.
- 5. Bring the liquid to a boil.
- 6. Cook the apple slices in batches for four minutes in the boiling liquid.
- 7. Remove the apple slices with a slotted spoon.
- 8. Distribute the apple slices onto the plates.
- 9. Mix sugar, raisins, cardamom, vanilla, and cinnamon in a pot.
- 10. Bring the spice mixture to a boil.
- 11. Pour the hot sauce over the apple slices.
- 12. Toast the pine nuts in a pan without fat.
- 13. Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts over the apples.
- 14. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 15. Fill the whipped cream into a piping bag with a nozzle.
- 16. Pipe the cream into the center of the apple slices.
- 17. Garnish the plates with some lingonberry jam.
