🍽️ Steamed Salmon with Colorful Vegetables and Apple

Ingredients
- 400 g salmon fillet (2 salmon fillets)
- 2 stalks celery
- 3 carrots
- 1 apple
- 2 stems parsley
- 1 spring onion
- sea salt
- 1 lemon (squeezed)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp horseradish (freshly grated)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the celery thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds.
- 2. Peel the carrots and cut them into long sticks.
- 3. Wash the apple and cut it into quarters.
- 4. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 5. Slice off two wedges from the apple.
- 6. Drizzle these two wedges with a little lemon juice.
- 7. Cut the remaining apple into sticks.
- 8. Add the apple sticks to the remaining lemon juice.
- 9. Wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 10. Place all the vegetables (except the apple) into a steamer insert.
- 11. Place the steamer insert over a saucepan with water.
- 12. Rinse the salmon fillet under running water.
- 13. Pat the salmon dry with a kitchen towel.
- 14. Drizzle the salmon with one teaspoon of lemon juice.
- 15. Season the salmon lightly with salt.
- 16. Place the salmon on top of the vegetables in the steamer.
- 17. Pour about half a liter of water into the pot under the steamer.
- 18. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
- 19. Finely chop one stalk of parsley.
- 20. Carefully lift the cooked salmon from the vegetables using two spatulas.
- 21. Mix the apple and the chopped parsley into the steamed vegetables.
- 22. Arrange the vegetables on pre-warmed plates.
- 23. Add the remaining lemon juice, horseradish, and oil.
- 24. Serve the steamed salmon with the vegetables.
- 25. Garnish the dish with the apple wedge and parsley.
