🍽️ Garlic-Lime Broccoli with Sesam

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- 1 lime
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 350 g broccoli
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Slice the garlic thinly.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a small pot.
- 4. Fry the garlic until light brown over medium heat.
- 5. Add the soy sauce and honey.
- 6. Let the mixture simmer gently for 1 minute.
- 7. Squeeze the lime.
- 8. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice and sesame oil to the sauce.
- 9. Set the sauce aside.
- 10. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without fat until light brown.
- 11. Wash the broccoli thoroughly.
- 12. Separate the broccoli into small florets.
- 13. Peel the thick stem with a vegetable peeler.
- 14. Slice the broccoli stem into thin slices.
- 15. Place the stem slices on the bottom of a steamer insert.
- 16. Place the broccoli florets on top of the stem slices.
- 17. Place the steamer insert into a matching pot.
- 18. Fill the pot with a shallow layer of water.
- 19. Place the covered pot on the stove.
- 20. Bring the water to a boil.
- 21. Steam the broccoli for 6 to 7 minutes.
- 22. Remove the broccoli from the steamer.
- 23. Toss the broccoli with the prepared sauce.
- 24. Sprinkle the broccoli with the toasted sesame seeds.
- 25. Serve the dish.
