🍽️ Steamed Trout with Vegetables in Parchment Packets

Ingredients
- 4 Trout fillets (approx. 200 g each)
- 300 g boiled potatoes (waxy)
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 2 sprigs Dill
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 200 degrees Celsius fan mode.
- 2. Rinse the trout fillets briefly under running water and then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds.
- 4. Peel the carrot and slice it into thin rounds or use a grater to shred it into fine strips.
- 5. Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips.
- 6. Take four sheets of parchment paper and brush the center of each sheet with a little oil.
- 7. Place the trout fillets skin-side down on the prepared paper sheets.
- 8. Drizzle a little oil over the fish.
- 9. Add some lemon juice.
- 10. Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
- 11. Pick fresh dill leaves and sprinkle them over the fish.
- 12. Place the potato slices in a wavy, overlapping pattern on top of the fillets.
- 13. Distribute the carrot slices evenly on top.
- 14. Season the vegetables again with salt and pepper.
- 15. Drizzle a little olive oil over the vegetables.
- 16. Fold the edges of the parchment paper together and seal the packet well so that it is airtight.
- 17. Place the parchment packets on a rack in the oven.
- 18. Bake the trout for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 19. Sprinkle the finished dish with fresh parsley before serving.
