🍽️ Wok dish with pork, bamboo shoots and snow peas

Ingredients
- 500 g sliced pork
- 300 g snow peas
- salt
- 2 red bell peppers
- 300 g bamboo shoots, julienned (jar or can)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp honey
- light soy sauce
- 1 dash lime juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Wash the snow peas and remove the tough stems.
- 3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the snow peas for a short time (this is called blanching).
- 4. Remove the snow peas immediately from the hot water and place them in cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 5. Let the snow peas drain well in a colander.
- 6. Wash the bell peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the inside with the seeds.
- 7. Cut the deseeded bell peppers into thin strips.
- 8. Let the bamboo shoots drain well in a colander.
- 9. Wash the chili pepper and cut it in half lengthwise.
- 10. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper and finely chop the flesh.
- 11. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely as well.
- 12. Add the chopped chili, garlic, and ginger to the hot oil in the wok.
- 13. Fry the meat for about 1 minute in the mixture.
- 14. Add the snow peas and the pepper strips and fry everything while stirring for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 15. Add the honey, bamboo shoots, and a little soy sauce.
- 16. Let the dish cook through for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 17. Season the finished dish finally with soy sauce, lime juice, and salt.
