  3. 3. Repeat the rinsing until the running water is clear.
  4. 4. Let the quinoa drain well.
  5. 5. Bring 225 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
  6. 6. Add the drained quinoa to the boiling water.
  7. 7. Cover the pot.
  8. 8. Cook the quinoa on low heat for about 12 minutes.
  9. 9. Remove the pot from the heat.
  10. 10. Let the quinoa steam covered for another 10 minutes.
  11. 11. Place the chopped almonds in a non-stick frying pan.
  12. 12. Toast the almonds without adding extra fat.
  13. 13. Fry them until they are light brown.
  14. 14. Remove the almonds from the pan.
  15. 15. Let the almonds cool on a plate.
  16. 16. Lightly salt the quinoa.
  17. 17. Drizzle the quinoa with half a tablespoon of olive oil.
  18. 18. Add the remaining oil to the pan.
  19. 19. Heat the oil in the pan.
  20. 20. Add the quinoa to the hot pan.
  21. 21. Fry the quinoa over medium heat.
  22. 22. Stir the quinoa constantly.
  23. 23. Fry it for 8 to 9 minutes.
  24. 24. Fry the quinoa until it is crispy and brown.
  25. 25. Add the curry powder to the pan.
  26. 26. Add the cooled almonds to the pan.
  27. 27. Stir everything well.
  28. 28. Fry the mixture for another 1 minute.
  29. 29. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
  30. 30. Serve the quinoa immediately.
