🍽️ Pan-fried Cod with Buttered Pea Pods

Ingredients
- 2 pieces Cod fillet (200 g each)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 350 g young pea pods or snow peas
Instructions
- 1. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Add the pea pods to the boiling water and cook them for about 5 minutes.
- 3. Remove the pods from the water and rinse them immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Let the pea pods drain well.
- 5. Drizzle lemon juice over the cod fillets.
- 6. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- 7. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
- 8. Fry the cod fillets for about 3 minutes on each side in the hot butter.
- 9. Add the drained pea pods to the remaining butter in the pan.
- 10. Toss the pods in the butter until they are warm.
- 11. Finally season the pea pods with salt and pepper.
- 12. Place the fried cod and the pea pods on a plate.
