  2. 2. Wash the florets in a sieve under running water.
  3. 3. Let the vegetables drain well in the sieve.
  4. 4. Cut each broccoli floret into four pieces.
  5. 5. Place the capers in a fine mesh tea strainer.
  6. 6. Rinse the capers briefly with water.
  7. 7. Let the capers drain as well.
  8. 8. Grate the Parmesan finely using a grater.
  9. 9. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
  10. 10. Shake the parsley dry.
  11. 11. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
  12. 12. Chop the parsley leaves coarsely.
  13. 13. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan.
  14. 14. Place the broccoli in the hot pan.
  15. 15. Fry the broccoli for about 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Turn the broccoli occasionally while frying.
  17. 17. Squeeze the half lemon.
  18. 18. Drizzle 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice over the broccoli.
  19. 19. Season the broccoli to taste with salt.

  21. 21. Remove the broccoli from the pan.
  22. 22. Place the broccoli on a serving plate.
  23. 23. Sprinkle the drained capers over the broccoli.
