  2. 2. Dry the mushrooms with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Make slight cuts into the tips of the large mushroom caps.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
  5. 5. Roughly chop the garlic.
  6. 6. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
  7. 7. Heat the butter and oil in a large pan.
  8. 8. Fry the garlic pieces lightly.
  9. 9. Add the mushrooms to the pan.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the thyme leaves over them.
  11. 11. Fry the mushrooms for about four minutes on each side.
  12. 12. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
  13. 13. Serve the mushrooms with baguette.
