🍽️ Marinated Beef Steaks with Crispy Corn

Ingredients
- 560 g Rump steak (4 pieces of 140 g each)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bunch parsley
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 0.5 tsp ground rosemary
- 3 tbsp oil (for frying)
- 8 young corn cobs
- 100 g butter
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the parsley.
- 2. Peel the garlic.
- 3. Slice the garlic thinly.
- 4. Spread the parsley and garlic evenly on the bottom of a baking dish.
- 5. Whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, oregano, and rosemary to make a marinade.
- 6. Place the steaks side by side in the dish.
- 7. Pour the marinade over the steaks.
- 8. Cover the dish.
- 9. Let the steaks marinate for about three hours.
- 10. Turn the steaks halfway through the marinating time.
- 11. 20 minutes before the marinating time ends, remove the husks and silk from the corn cobs.
- 12. Wash the corn cobs.
- 13. Dry the corn cobs thoroughly.
- 14. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
- 15. Prevent the butter from browning.
- 16. Fry the corn cobs in the butter over medium-low heat.
- 17. Turn the corn cobs frequently.
- 18. Fry the corn cobs for about 25 minutes until they are crispy and brown.
- 19. Heat oil in a separate frying pan.
- 20. Fry the marinated steaks for two minutes on each side.
- 21. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- 22. Garnish the corn cobs with a thin slice of butter.
- 23. Serve the corn cobs together with the steaks.
