  1. 1. Peel the kohlrabi and cut it into sticks about 1 cm thick.
  2. 2. Boil the sticks in salted water for 6 to 8 minutes until they still have a slight bite.
  3. 3. Drain the vegetables, let them drain well, and place them on kitchen paper.
  4. 4. Whisk the egg whites in a shallow bowl.
  5. 5. Spread the sesame seeds onto a plate.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 80 degrees fan-forced.
  7. 7. Dip a portion of kohlrabi sticks into the egg whites first.
  8. 8. Then roll the sticks around in the sesame seeds.
  9. 9. Fry the breaded sticks in a pan with plenty of oil for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  10. 10. Remove the finished sticks, let them drain on kitchen paper, and keep them warm in the oven.
  11. 11. Repeat the process with the remaining kohlrabi sticks.
  12. 12. Serve the sticks with a dip made from yogurt, quark, or soured milk.
