🍽️ Turkey strips with Asian coconut vegetables

Ingredients
- 600 g turkey breast fillet
- 1 pak choi
- 1 onion
- 6 carrots
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 star anise
- 200 ml chicken broth
- 5 tbsp coconut cream
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the turkey into thin strips.
- 2. Season the meat strips with salt and pepper.
- 3. Peel the carrots.
- 4. Slice the carrots into thin rounds.
- 5. Peel the onions.
- 6. Halve the onions.
- 7. Cut the onion halves into fine cubes.
- 8. Wash the pak choi thoroughly.
- 9. Cut the pak choi into bite-sized pieces.
- 10. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan.
- 11. Sear the turkey slices on all sides.
- 12. Add the onion cubes to the pan.
- 13. Fry the onions briefly.
- 14. Deglaze the mixture with broth.
- 15. Add the carrot slices to the pan.
- 16. Add the cinnamon sticks to the pan.
- 17. Add the star anise to the pan.
- 18. Simmer everything on low heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
- 19. Remove the cinnamon sticks from the pan.
- 20. Remove the star anise from the pan.
- 21. Add the pak choi to the pan.
- 22. Stir everything well.
- 23. Cook the vegetables for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 24. Season the sauce with salt.
- 25. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 26. Stir the coconut cream into the sauce.
- 27. Divide the dish among four plates.
- 28. Garnish each plate with a star anise.
- 29. Garnish each plate with a cinnamon stick.
