🍽️ Fried Pepper Poppers

Ingredients
- 600 g green pepper (Peperoncini)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 5 basil leaves
- 300 g pureed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- oregano
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peppers thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic and basil and sauté briefly. Then place the peppers in the hot pan and sauté them over medium heat.
- 2. Stir the mixture frequently. Add the tomatoes and vinegar. Season with a little oregano, salt, and pepper. Let the ingredients simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat. These poppers pair wonderfully with grilled meat.
