  2. 2. Remove the tough ends and slice the onions into thin rings.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic clove.
  4. 4. Mince the garlic very finely.
  5. 5. Cut the salmon fillet into eight equal strips.
  6. 6. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  7. 7. Fry the salmon strips on all sides for about four minutes until golden brown.
  8. 8. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Stir the crème fraîche until smooth.
  10. 10. Mix the crème fraîche with one tablespoon of orange juice.
  11. 11. Season the crème fraîche with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. 12. Add the chopped garlic and spring onions to the pan with the fish.
  13. 13. Sauté the vegetables for about one minute.
  14. 14. Pour in the lime juice and the remaining orange juice.
  15. 15. Add half a cup of water.
  16. 16. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  17. 17. Dissolve the wasabi powder in the sauce while stirring continuously.
