Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken thighs under running water.
- 2. Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Whisk honey, vinegar, oil, paprika powder, soy sauce, and sambal oelek together in a small bowl to form a uniform marinade.
- 4. Season the marinade to taste with salt and pepper.
- 5. Place the chicken thighs on a baking rack.
- 6. Brush the chicken thighs generously with the prepared spice mixture.
- 7. Preheat your oven to the grill setting at 180 degrees Celsius.
- 8. Place the rack with the chicken thighs into the preheated oven.
- 9. Grill the chicken thighs for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 10. Turn the chicken thighs repeatedly during the cooking time.
- 11. Brush the chicken thighs again with the remaining marinade each time you turn them.
