🍽️ Crispy Chicken with Apple and Leek Pan

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 medium leek stalks
- 2 tart apples (e.g. Boskop)
- nutmeg
- 100 ml vegetable broth (instant)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the leek thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the white and light green parts of the leek into thin diagonal strips.
- 3. Quarter the apples.
- 4. Peel the apple quarters.
- 5. Remove the core from the apples.
- 6. Slice the apples into thin crosswise slices.
- 7. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
- 8. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- 9. Fry the chicken fillets on each side for about 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 10. Remove the cooked chicken fillets from the pan and keep them warm.
- 11. Add the remaining butter to the same pan.
- 12. Sauté the prepared leek and apple slices in the butter.
- 13. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 14. Add a pinch of ground nutmeg.
- 15. Pour in the broth.
- 16. Simmer the vegetables uncovered over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 17. Plate the chicken fillets with the apple and leek vegetables.
- 18. Serve the dish immediately.
