🍝 Quick Duck Breast with Noodles in Asian Sauce

Ingredients
- 600 g duck breast fillet (2 pieces)
- 250 g green Japanese noodles
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 0.5 tsp sambal oelek
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- 3 tbsp oil
- 50 ml poultry broth
- 1 spring onion
- shiso leaf (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a pot.
- 2. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
- 3. Remove the noodles from the water.
- 4. Rinse the noodles briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 5. Let the noodles drain well.
- 6. Mix honey, soy sauce, and Sambal Oelek in a small bowl.
- 7. Slice the duck breast fillet into thin slices.
- 8. Place the duck slices into the marinade.
- 9. Let the meat marinate for 30 minutes.
- 10. Remove the duck slices from the marinade.
- 11. Let the meat drain briefly.
- 12. Pour the remaining marinade into a container.
- 13. Heat a wok with about one tablespoon of oil.
- 14. Fry the duck slices briefly and vigorously on all sides.
- 15. Season the meat with salt and lemon juice.
- 16. Remove the meat from the wok.
- 17. Keep the meat warm.
- 18. Pour the broth and the collected marinade into the wok.
- 19. Add the noodles to the sauce.
- 20. Heat the noodles in the sauce.
- 21. Clean the spring onions.
- 22. Wash the spring onions.
- 23. Slice the spring onions into rings.
- 24. Place the noodles on a plate.
- 25. Place the duck breast on top of the noodles.
- 26. Sprinkle the dish with spring onion rings.
- 27. Garnish with shiso leaves if desired.
- 28. Serve the dish.
