🍽️ Bacon-Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Almonds

Ingredients
- 12 thin slices breakfast bacon (Bacon)
- 24 dates
- 24 almond kernels
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise.
- 2. Toast the almonds in a pan without oil until golden brown.
- 3. Carefully pit the dates.
- 4. Insert one toasted almond into each date.
- 5. Wrap each stuffed date with one half of a bacon slice.
- 6. Secure the package with a toothpick so the bacon does not unravel.
- 7. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half.
- 8. Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacon-wrapped dates in it.
- 9. Remove the garlic from the pan to prevent it from burning.
- 10. Fry the dates until they are crispy and golden brown all over.
- 11. Season the finished dates with freshly ground pepper.
- 12. Arrange the dates on a serving plate.
