🍽️ Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Breast with Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 8 slices dry bread
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 red bell peppers
- 3 yellow bell peppers
- 1 onion
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- paprika powder sweet
- 2 tsp thyme leaves
Instructions
- 1. Break the breadcrumbs into small pieces and grind them into fine crumbs using a food processor.
- 2. Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper.
- 3. Coat the fillets one by one in flour, beaten egg, and the breadcrumb crumbs until fully covered.
- 4. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the breaded fillets for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 5. Peel the onion and chop it into fine cubes.
- 6. Wash the peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds, and chop them into large chunks.
- 7. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion cubes until soft.
- 8. Add the pepper pieces and cook them briefly.
- 9. Season the vegetables with salt, pepper, paprika powder, and thyme.
- 10. Serve the chicken breast fillets on top of the pepper mixture.
