Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
  2. 2. Wash the chicken thighs thoroughly. Then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Whisk together turmeric, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl to make a marinade.
  4. 4. Brush the chicken thighs thoroughly with the marinade. Place them in a fireproof baking dish.
  5. 5. Roast the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Brush them occasionally with the remaining marinade.
  6. 6. Wash the apples. Cut them into quarters, remove the core, and slice the wedges into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7. Slice the garlic cloves horizontally through the middle.
  8. 8. Blanch the nectarines briefly with hot water. Immediately shock them in cold water. Peel them, quarter the fruit, and remove the pits.
  9. 9. Arrange the prepared apples, garlic, and nectarines in the dish around the chicken thighs. Add the thyme sprigs.
  10. 10. Roast the vegetables for another 20 minutes in the oven. Add a little water to the dish if needed to prevent drying out. Gently turn the vegetables and chicken occasionally.
