  1. 1. Let the puff pastry sheets thaw at room temperature.
  2. 2. Place the individual sheets side by side on a work surface.
  3. 3. Cut or stamp out round circles with a diameter of about 12 centimeters.
  4. 4. Melt the butter in a small pan.
  5. 5. Toast the peanuts in the melted butter for a short time.
  6. 6. Spread the butter-peanut mixture evenly over the pastry circles.
  7. 7. Stack the coated circles into eight small towers on top of each other.
  8. 8. Place the stacks on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  9. 9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  10. 10. Bake the pastry stacks one after another in the hot oven for about 15 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the baked stacks from the oven.
  12. 12. Let the pastry stacks cool down completely.
  13. 13. Wash the strawberries under running water.
  14. 14. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
  15. 15. Slice the strawberries into thin slices.
  16. 16. Whip the cream until it is semi-stiff.
  17. 17. Place one cooled pastry stack on each of four plates.
  18. 18. Distribute half of the strawberry slices on the first stacks.
  19. 19. Add half of the whipped cream onto the strawberries.
  20. 20. Place the remaining pastry stacks on top.
  21. 21. Distribute the remaining strawberries and the rest of the cream on the upper stacks.
  22. 22. Garnish the dishes with fresh mint.
  23. 23. Add thin strips of orange peel as decoration.
  24. 24. Serve the towers immediately.
