🍰 Crispy Puff Pastry Towers with Strawberries

Ingredients
- 1 pack Yufka pastry (frozen, approx. 500 g)
- 2 tbsp chopped peanuts
- 100 g butter
- 300 g strawberries
- 200 g whipping cream
- mint
- orange zest (thin strips)
Instructions
- 1. Let the puff pastry sheets thaw at room temperature.
- 2. Place the individual sheets side by side on a work surface.
- 3. Cut or stamp out round circles with a diameter of about 12 centimeters.
- 4. Melt the butter in a small pan.
- 5. Toast the peanuts in the melted butter for a short time.
- 6. Spread the butter-peanut mixture evenly over the pastry circles.
- 7. Stack the coated circles into eight small towers on top of each other.
- 8. Place the stacks on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 10. Bake the pastry stacks one after another in the hot oven for about 15 minutes.
- 11. Remove the baked stacks from the oven.
- 12. Let the pastry stacks cool down completely.
- 13. Wash the strawberries under running water.
- 14. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 15. Slice the strawberries into thin slices.
- 16. Whip the cream until it is semi-stiff.
- 17. Place one cooled pastry stack on each of four plates.
- 18. Distribute half of the strawberry slices on the first stacks.
- 19. Add half of the whipped cream onto the strawberries.
- 20. Place the remaining pastry stacks on top.
- 21. Distribute the remaining strawberries and the rest of the cream on the upper stacks.
- 22. Garnish the dishes with fresh mint.
- 23. Add thin strips of orange peel as decoration.
- 24. Serve the towers immediately.
