  2. 2. Place the potatoes in salted water and boil them for about 25 minutes until tender.
  3. 3. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool down completely.
  4. 4. Press the cooled potatoes through a potato ricer.
  5. 5. Add flour, one egg, a pinch of salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
  6. 6. Mix everything into a dough and let it rest briefly.
  7. 7. Shape the dough into finger-long dumplings, about 8 centimeters in length.
  8. 8. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil.
  9. 9. Boil the dumplings in the water for about 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon.
  11. 11. Let them drain briefly.
  12. 12. Fry the dumplings in hot oil until golden brown.
  13. 13. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  14. 14. Place the fried dumplings into the dish.
  15. 15. Whisk sour cream, eggs, and salt in a bowl.
  16. 16. Add chopped parsley and pressed garlic to the sauce.
  17. 17. Pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings.
  18. 18. Cut the bacon into small cubes.
  19. 19. Fry the bacon until crispy in a pan.
  20. 20. Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the dumplings.
