🍽️ Mirabelle Plums Baked with Honey, Orange Zest, and Spices

Ingredients
- 500 g Mirabelle plums
- 1 untreated orange
- 4 cardamom pods
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 pinch ground star anise
- 1 pinch ground pimento
- 200 g liquid honey
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Rinse the mirabelle plums under running water and let them drain well.
- 3. Wash the orange thoroughly with hot water and dry it.
- 4. Finely grate the orange peel to make zest.
- 5. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
- 6. Gently crush the cardamom pods to release their aroma.
- 7. Place the crushed cardamom pods into heatproof small dishes.
- 8. Put the drained mirabelle plums into the dishes.
- 9. Sprinkle the orange zest over the fruit.
- 10. Add black pepper, star anise, and allspice.
- 11. Drizzle honey over the fruit.
- 12. Add a little orange juice.
- 13. Bake the dishes in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 14. Serve the warm plums, for example, with Greek yogurt.
