  1. 1. Rinse the fish and seafood under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the pieces completely dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Pour the oil into a large pot and heat it up.
  4. 4. Check the oil temperature by holding the end of a wooden spoon handle into it.
  5. 5. The oil is ready when small bubbles rise around the spoon handle.
  6. 6. Season the fish and seafood generously with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Coat the pieces in the flour until they are completely covered.
  8. 8. Shake off any excess flour from the pieces.
  9. 9. Fry the larger fish pieces in batches in the hot oil until golden brown.
  10. 10. Let the larger fish fry for about five to six minutes.
  11. 11. Fry the smaller fish pieces for about four to five minutes.
  12. 12. Fry the seafood for about two to three minutes.
  13. 13. Remove the finished pieces from the oil and place them on kitchen paper.
  14. 14. Let the oil drain from the pieces.
  15. 15. Keep the dishes warm in the oven if necessary until you serve them.
  16. 16. Garnish the dish with fresh lemon slices.
  17. 17. Serve the baked seafood immediately.
