🍽️ Oven-Baked Pears with Cheese and Almonds

Ingredients
- 4 small pears
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 100 g blue cheese (e.g. Gorgonzola)
- 40 g sliced almonds
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 3. Carefully cut the pears in half.
- 4. Remove the core using a melon baller.
- 5. Brush the pear halves with the lemon juice.
- 6. Place the pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 7. Bake the pears for about 10 minutes.
- 8. Pierce the fruit with a small knife to check for softness.
- 9. Bake the pears for another 5 minutes if needed.
- 10. Cut the cheese into 8 small cubes.
- 11. Place the cheese cubes into the hollowed-out pears.
- 12. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the top.
- 13. Bake everything for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- 14. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 15. Serve the pears warm.
