  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Wash the pears thoroughly.
  3. 3. Carefully cut the pears in half.
  4. 4. Remove the core using a melon baller.
  5. 5. Brush the pear halves with the lemon juice.
  6. 6. Place the pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. 7. Bake the pears for about 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Pierce the fruit with a small knife to check for softness.
  9. 9. Bake the pears for another 5 minutes if needed.
  10. 10. Cut the cheese into 8 small cubes.
  11. 11. Place the cheese cubes into the hollowed-out pears.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the top.
  13. 13. Bake everything for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  14. 14. Remove the tray from the oven.
  15. 15. Serve the pears warm.
