🍽️ Baked Apples and Onions in Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients
- 300 g red onions
- 3 apples
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 100 ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Fat (for the pan)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Grease a roasting pan or baking tray with some fat.
- 3. Peel the onions and cut them into eight equal pieces.
- 4. Remove the core from the apples and cut them into quarters.
- 5. Place the onions and apple wedges into the prepared dish.
- 6. Put the fruit and vegetables in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 7. Whisk the balsamic vinegar with the juice in a small bowl.
- 8. Take the dish out of the oven and pour the vinegar-juice mixture over it.
- 9. Gently fold the ingredients to ensure everything is well coated.
- 10. Sprinkle the sugar evenly over the mixture.
- 11. Roast the apples and onions in the oven for another 15 to 20 minutes.
- 12. Turn the pieces repeatedly during the baking time so they caramelize evenly.
