  2. 2. Wash the apples thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut the apples in half through the middle.
  4. 4. Remove the core using a spoon or a corer.
  5. 5. Place the apple halves cut-side up on a wire rack.
  6. 6. Mix the honey with the lemon juice in a small bowl.
  7. 7. Brush the cut surfaces of the apples with the honey-lemon mixture.
  8. 8. Crumble the blue cheese into small pieces.
  9. 9. Distribute the cheese evenly over the apple halves.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the nuts and rosemary over the top.
  11. 11. Season everything with a pinch of pepper.
  12. 12. Brush the remaining honey-lemon mixture over the filling.
  13. 13. Place the tray in the oven and bake the apples for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
