  2. 2. Halve the peeled asparagus pieces lengthwise.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  4. 4. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
  5. 5. Heat some oil in a large pan or pot.
  6. 6. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and asparagus to the hot oil.
  7. 7. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat for about 5 to 6 minutes, stirring constantly, until soft.
  8. 8. Add the prawns (shrimp) to the pan.
  9. 9. Fry the prawns briefly together with the vegetables.
  10. 10. Dust everything with cornstarch (corn flour).
  11. 11. Deglaze the dish with the broth.
  12. 12. Bring the soup to a boil.
  13. 13. Let the soup simmer for about 1 to 2 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
  14. 14. Whisk the egg in a small bowl until creamy.
