🍽️ Oven Shrimp with Feta and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 large tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 green bell pepper
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- salt, pepper from the mill
- paprika powder
- 500 g large shrimp
- 2 stalks parsley
- 150 g feta
Instructions
- 1. Wash the fresh tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Pour boiling water over them briefly.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Remove the seeds.
- 5. Puree the flesh in a blender until smooth.
- 6. Peel the onions and garlic.
- 7. Chop both ingredients very finely.
- 8. Wash the bell pepper.
- 9. Remove the green stem base and the seeds.
- 10. Chop the bell pepper flesh finely as well.
- 11. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 12. Sauté the onions briefly until they become translucent.
- 13. Add the garlic and bell pepper pieces.
- 14. Cook everything together for a short time.
- 15. Add the tomato puree.
- 16. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 17. Let the mixture simmer for about 30 minutes.
- 18. Reduce the sauce to a thick consistency.
- 19. Peel the shrimp.
- 20. Leave the head and tail on.
- 21. Carefully remove the black vein.
- 22. Rinse the shrimp briefly under cold water.
- 23. Let the shrimp drain well.
- 24. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 25. Place the shrimp in a baking dish.
- 26. Cover them with the prepared tomato sauce.
- 27. Wash the parsley.
- 28. Pick the leaves off the stems.
- 29. Distribute the parsley leaves in the dish.
- 30. Crumble the feta cheese.
- 31. Spread the feta over the shrimp.
- 32. Place the dish in the preheated oven.
- 33. Bake the dish for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- 34. Bake the cheese until golden brown on top.
