  1. 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Set aside three whole shrimp for decoration and roughly chop the remaining shrimp.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic cloves and press them directly onto the chopped shrimp.
  4. 4. Add the sour cream, quark (fresh curd cheese), and yogurt to the bowl with the shrimp.
  5. 5. Add the lemon juice and season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Stir all ingredients well until a smooth cream forms.
  7. 7. Transfer the shrimp cream into a serving bowl.
  8. 8. Place the three reserved whole shrimp on top of the cream.
  9. 9. Sprinkle some paprika powder over the surface for decoration.
  10. 10. Serve the dip together with crackers.
