🍽️ Christmas Prawn Cocktail

Ingredients
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 g mushrooms
- 150 g yogurt
- 50 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chive rings
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 300 g cooked shrimp (ready to cook)
- lime wedge (for garnishing)
- chive stems (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the celery thoroughly and remove any tough fibers. Cut the vegetable into small, even cubes.
- 2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters. Remove the core with the seeds and finely dice the flesh.
- 3. Clean the mushrooms of any dirt and cut them into fine cubes as well.
- 4. Whisk the yogurt, sour cream, and tomato ketchup in a bowl until you have a smooth sauce.
- 5. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice to taste.
- 6. Finely chop the chives and parsley and fold them into the seasoned sauce.
- 7. Rinse the prawns under cold water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 8. Mix the dry prawns with the prepared cubes of celery, tomato, and mushrooms.
- 9. Gently fold the herb sauce into the vegetable and prawn mixture.
- 10. Taste the cocktail once more and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- 11. Divide the mixture into individual glasses or bowls.
- 12. Garnish each cocktail with a lime wedge and fresh chive tips.
