🍽️ Grilled Shrimps with Creamy Avocado Dip

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg Large Shrimp (whole and raw)
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika Powder (sweet)
- 2 tbsp Chili Sauce (sweet-hot)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Avocados
- 1 Lime (Juice)
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 150 g Sour Cream
- 1 Green Chili Pepper
- 2 Sprigs Cilantro
- Salt
- Cayenne Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Turn your oven to the grill setting and preheat it.
- 2. Make a slit along the back of the shrimp shells.
- 3. Remove the dark vein and rinse the shrimp thoroughly.
- 4. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Mix the garlic with lemon juice, oil, curry powder, paprika powder, and chili sauce.
- 7. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
- 8. Toss the shrimp in the marinade until they are well coated.
- 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 10. Arrange the shrimp on the tray.
- 11. Bake the shrimp in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 12. Turn the shrimp occasionally during cooking.
- 13. Cut the avocados in half.
- 14. Remove the pits from the avocado halves.
- 15. Carefully separate the flesh from the skin.
- 16. Dice the avocado into small cubes.
- 17. Drizzle 2 to 3 tablespoons of lime juice over the avocado cubes.
- 18. Peel the garlic cloves for the dip.
- 19. Place the garlic cloves, sour cream, and half of the avocado into a blender.
- 20. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
- 21. Rinse the chili under running water.
- 22. Remove the seeds from the chili.
- 23. Finely chop the chili.
- 24. Rinse the cilantro leaves.
- 25. Shake the cilantro dry.
- 26. Finely chop the cilantro leaves.
- 27. Reserve a handful of avocado cubes for garnish.
- 28. Stir the chopped chili, cilantro, and remaining avocado cubes into the dip cream.
- 29. Season the dip with salt, cayenne pepper, and the remaining lime juice.
- 30. Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
- 31. Serve the warm shrimp with the avocado dip.
- 32. Serve some lime wedges on the side.
