🍽️ Grilled Shrimp and Pepper Skewers with Avocado Dip

Ingredients
- 400 g Shrimp (peeled and deveined, except for the tail segment)
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- 1 Pin Cumin
- 1 Pin Cayenne pepper
- 1 Lime (juice)
- 2 Avocados
- white pepper
- 2 red bell peppers
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Peel two garlic cloves and mash them in a mortar together with the salt until you have a fine paste.
- 3. Stir the oil, curry powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and a splash of lime juice into the garlic mixture.
- 4. Mix the shrimp thoroughly with the marinade.
- 5. Let the shrimp marinate for about 30 minutes, covered.
- 6. Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pits.
- 7. Peel the avocado flesh and cut it into small cubes.
- 8. Peel the last garlic clove and mash it finely.
- 9. Mix the avocado cubes with the mashed garlic.
- 10. Season the avocado mixture with salt, pepper, and lime juice to taste.
- 11. Wash the peppers and remove the inside (stems and seeds).
- 12. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- 13. Thread the marinated shrimp and the pepper pieces alternately onto the wooden skewers.
- 14. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 15. Grill the skewers for about 8 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- 16. Serve the grilled skewers together with the avocado dip.
